Abstract The sun and the moon are two great signs of Almighty God's greatness Who created the great universe. This paper is a linguistic study of the verbs related tonight and day, the sun and the moon in the Glorious Qur'an and in the scenes of doomsday as they recurred in the Qur'an to warn human beings of what will happen in that frightful day. In these expressions the semantic devices, sound and sense unite together toexpress the frightfulness of doomsday. The paper studies some of the concerned verbs trying to explore their meanings in the outstanding dictionaries, such as 'come', 'gather', 'eclipse' and 'split'.

Abstract Theories from all fields of knowledge affected the English novel directly or indirectly. This genre has become a platform of all concepts created through the other fields of knowledge. Manichaeism is a religious movement which believed in the association between darkness and evil, light and good. It will be noticed that they deal with the everlasting struggle between good and evil. This doctrine of light-good and dark-evil was the major dogma in Manichaeism. Although Manichaeism died out, its belief in the fight between good and evil can be detected in mostly all English novels. This study inspects Manichaeism in John Steinbeck's East of Eden. In spite of being extinct, its doctrine highlights this principal theme in all literary works.

Abstract The present study tackles the problems which translators encounter through the process of translation of the Arabic texts that contain intensifiers of negation. This study tries to help translators to utilize different techniques to differentiate between the source text with a certain intensifier of negation and the target text which does not contain any intensifier of negation. In other words, the study aims at attracting translators' attention to make them able to convey the intended sense of the intensifiers in Arabic to English.It is also to be noted that Arabic has more intensifiers of negation than English, which may lead to greater difficulty in rendering. This study has verified that intensifiers of negation are widely used in the Glorious Quran as well as in the other standard modern texts of Arabic.

Abstract This research dealt with a number of issues that the grammarians had not mention, because of the lack of its sources. They did not differentiate in others, but rather dealt with them in general without mentioning the sub-issues related to them. Those issues had attracted the interesting of some grammarians who set rules for those issues. So they have some grammatical issues that we cannot find at other grammarians, and other matters they have explained them in detail, that no one of the grammarians dealt with only the fundamentalist of them. These issues were analyzed, using the sayings of grammarians and scholars of jurisprudence from the opinions and rules.

Abstract Dictation has been used in the field of language learning for several years. However, most of the language instructors and methodologists regard this method as useless and out-of-date. Indeed dictation is a teaching technique which enables English teachers to focus on the language proficiency of their students. This paper explains what the teachers should do to help the students enhance enthusiasm and confidence for learning, stimulate learning motivation, reduce or eliminate their difficulty and take measures to improve their own language skills. This paper aims at investigating the relationship between mastery of dictation and university students' achievement in spelling which in order to raise students' efficiency in vocabulary and texts. This paper consists of three sections, the first as an introduction, and the second deals with literature review and the third is the conclusion.

Abstract This paper is an attempt to explore the pragmatic elements in the rhetorics of the linguistic structures which are implicit in the original meaning such as demand, command, promise and other ends concerning the reaction of the receiver such as refusal and acceptance. The researcher firstly selected a line of verse for Al-Buhtari whichsucceeds in achieving psychological communication among individuals for humanitarian ends in the light of the examples of bahavioural verbs from two perspectives: verbs of psychological nearness and verbs of psychological separatness. Secondly, the paper attempts an analysis of the kinguistic discourse of Prophet Mohammads "Farewell Address". Thirdly, the paper deals with the functions of language by examining classical poems in the light of Roman Jacobson's theory.

Abstract The study aims at shedding light on the application and impacts of the importance of teaching reading skills in English language using a variety of techniques in Jordanian curriculum. These techniques of reading skills simplify reading English text and help students do tasks that are presented by English teachers in Jordanian public schools, who teach Action Pack pupil‟s book. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher followed the analytical descriptive method in terms of applying the study tools, data collection and analysis. The study sample consisted of a group of seventh grade students from Al-Aghware Directorate of Education, at two schools for girls of (128) students. The study found that there is an effect of the strategy of reading skill in simplifying reading texts and articles, as the researcher recommended the need to work on these techniques to be used within the classroom language.

Abstract The Glorious Qur'an is the speech og Almighty God.This paper is a study of the influence of the Glorious Qur'an on Abu Nu'as's poetry. He was chosen from the Abasyd poets for his love of wine till he was cold 'the poet of wine'. The paper begins with an introductory section on te influence of the Qur'an on Arabic language in general, then it gives a brief biography of the poet and how he came under the influence of the glorious Qur'an.

Abstract There is an unintended relationship between (interactive literature) and some of the approaches of modernism and postmodern as an unplanned response with monetary principles such as the receptiontheory and reader's response approach, tolerance and dialogue and decomposition and overlapping races. And the presence of these monetary patterns in literature as an interactive part of nature allows making the critical reading fruitful; an ambition project which tries to reduce the gap between the curriculum and text, which is problematic in the Arab critical discourse. For these and other reasons we can talk about interactive literature and criticism from the perspective of critical reading through the title "Interactive literature in The light of the Deconstructional Approach".

Abstract This research is an attempt to highlight the attitude of the Kufian linguists to depending on the Prophet's Hadith, and to show how they use it in reasoning what they want to highlight and win. The research sheds light on an important issue, namely the return of the Kufi language to the Prophet's Hadith and the Prophet's Without verifying what is relevant to his presence, and whether this issue is at the heart of the linguistic work or not.

Abstract Knowledge of language and its meanings are sound, semantic, syntactic and semantic. Especially if the circle of this knowledge goes away in verses of the Holy Qur'an and its subjects. Using these new levels of linguistics, researchers have tried to explain the specifics and characteristics of the lives of the old tribes, especially in the field of audio and video. Those who were corrupt, ruthless and unscrupulous, and also why the Qur'anic verses emphasized certain verbs. Such as verbs: (Seer), (Sarezr), (earthquake), and how could they be told through phonemes, vowels, and phrases in the way and manner of life that the relatives achieved, along with the style and manner of translating these verbs into Persian by translators How did their culture translate into other languages, research and exploration, and does this translation entirely match the themes? It is worth noting that every person can normally see the face of a person or animal or tree not willing to see, or hear their voice or understand their way of life, but through the Qur'anic interpretation and its relation to the development of sound and physical sciences can be practically all See and hear the creatures, this is really one of the new ways of expressing the concepts and themes of the Holy Quran in the context of linguistics and its descriptive method.
