Manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Language Studies undergo a rigorous scholarly review process according to the following procedures:
1. Preliminary Screening
The manuscript is initially screened by the Editorial Board to ensure that it falls within the scope of the journal and meets the journal’s submission and formatting requirements.
2. Originality Check
The manuscript is checked for similarity and compliance with the journal’s policies regarding academic originality and the use of artificial intelligence tools.
3. Peer Review
After passing the preliminary screening, the manuscript is sent to qualified reviewers specializing in the relevant field for scholarly evaluation according to the journal’s review criteria.
4. Review Reports
The Editorial Board considers the reviewers’ reports and makes an appropriate decision regarding the manuscript, including requesting revisions when necessary.
5. Revision
When revisions are required, the manuscript is returned to the author to address the reviewers’ comments. The revised manuscript is then resubmitted to the Editorial Board for further consideration.
6. Final Decision
After the required revisions have been completed and satisfactory evaluations have been received, the Editorial Board makes the final decision regarding publication.
7. Publication
Once all editorial and administrative requirements have been completed, the manuscript is scheduled for publication in the appropriate issue and published electronically on the journal’s official website.
