Abstract
The Glorious Qur'an is the speech og Almighty God.This paper is a study of the influence of the Glorious Qur'an on Abu Nu'as's poetry. He was chosen from the Abasyd poets for his love of wine till he was cold 'the poet of wine'. The paper begins with an introductory section on te influence of the Qur'an on Arabic language in general, then it gives a brief biography of the poet and how he came under the influence of the glorious Qur'an.
