Abstract
This research is based on the study of the novel universe,
which is based on the elements of novel construction (event,
character, time, place) in Ibrahim Hassan Nasser’s “Blood
Beaches… Salt Beaches”, one of the novels of war in
contemporary Iraqi literature.
The study was based on the analyzing the event, its
coordination and composition, personality patterns and
narrative features, time paradox, and finally the element of
place and its effect on a war novel.
This study seeks to reveal the richness of these elements
and their effective role in enriching the setting.
