Abstract
This paper deals with a number of techniques and parallel texts on
which the modern poem relies, such as whiteness, title, opening and
conclusion. The paper examines the poems of one of the young
contemporary poets, Nidhal Al-Qasim. The researcher applied the
reader-response approach in his analysis of the poems depending on
the role of the recipient in deciphering the code of the texts because
these texts are based on implication and suggestiveness.
