Morphological productivity is explained as the capability of a specific word formation process in producing the highest distinct word forms. Moreover, it refers to the availability of that process in the language and to make new words continuously. So, comparing the three processes [derivation, compounding, and conversion] established upon a dictionary-based corpus is seen as need for the linguistic domain analysis in general and morphological field in particular. Thus, this paper aims at investigating about the productivity of three English word formation processes theoretically and practically. In addition to that, it compares the three processes in terms of their morphological productivity degree. Consequently, the findings and the concluding points are announced in the conclusion section.
