Abstract

The chapter on Composition represents one of the broadest chapters of Arabic rhetoric. He mentioned his five discussions according to the sequence that was mentioned in the book Talkhees al-Muftah of al-Qazwini (d. 739 AH), and the Shirazi approach was based on the idiomatic definition and then listed the types, if any, and the tools and their meanings in the language and convention, and during that he discussed and mentioned the different opinions and gave preference to what he chose and agreed with his point of view accompanied by evidence from The Noble Qur’an and poetry, which are common evidence known among scholars of rhetoric. The personality of Al-Shirazi, his thought, and his organized approach to dealing with information appeared, and his explanation is one of the clearest explanations and the closest to the reader as he tends to take care of the addressee’s condition in every idea and position. Arabic by Al-Sakaki (d. 626 AH) in his important book Miftah Al-Ulum, which produced an integrated and accurate approach to Arabic rhetoric.
